FK;Reflection on 23/01/2012 - start of preliminary task.

Today was our first lesson on how to use the cameras that we will be shooting our films on. This was the first time that I had used such camera and the equipment such as tripods.

From this lesson I have learnt

• The basics of camera care - for example making sure the cameras are put away lens up.
• How to set up the camera, so it is ready to film, for example putting in the memory card and battery.
• How to attach the camera to the tripod, using the screw.
• How to move the camera to film a static pan
• How to record and then playback the footage
• The different ways of filming a handy cam shot - either by carrying the tripod with you, or detaching the camera altogether.
