CdL; Idea One

Seeing as how the convention in horror films is for the protagnist/victim to be a young, vulnerable female, maybe we should make our antagonist/killer/monster a young female whom no one suspects because of her traditional victim status. We could set up the openings already mentioned by FK and RB to show her as if she is going to be the next victim, then show flashbacks to her carrying out the murder or in the aftermath of the murder. Alternatively, we could leave the killer's identity obscured in a film noir style until the end of our clip when her face is revealed as the girl at the beginning.

FK: Idea One

Continuing the lake idea from established in: RK Idea One

I was thinking that for the clue aspect if the murderer dumps the body in the lake, then we could film the very opening in the bedroom, but with clues that they have been into a lake. Examples of this could be drying hair or clothes hung on the radiator. Costume and props would be key to this.

RB: Idea 1

A person is eating breakfast or doing their make-up getting ready to leave the house. At first everything would seem normal, but as the scene goes on small clues are given to the audience that this character has murdered someone in the house, for example, a bloody hand print on a wall or a smashed window or other sign of a struggle. The camera follows them as they go to leave the house, but when the door has closed, it suddenly cuts down to several seemingly dead bodies in a cellar. The opening ends with the camera zooming up on the face of one of the bodies and when it reaches an ECU of their face, the eyes open and the title appears on the screen.
